How We Can (deliciously) Reach Millions for Rett Awareness Month

We’ve been thinking about the best way to raise awareness in October. Then we realized we already have a great way to let thousands more people, maybe even millions, know about Rett syndrome through an initiative that’s already running—Mac & Cheese for Molly.
Right now, about 50 Chick-fil-A stores in the Philadelphia region are signed up for Mac & Cheese for Molly, where ¢35 from every mac & cheese sold in October goes to RSRT. Not only does this raise funds for RSRT—last year those 50 stores raised over $100,000 for RSRT—but it also raises incredible awareness.
Think of it this way—it takes more than 285,000 people buying mac & cheeses at ¢35 to raise $100,000. All those people saw Chick-fil-A marketing material that told them about Rett. So that’s 285,000 people who now have heard of Rett syndrome!
There are over 3,000 Chick-fil-A stores across the US. Imagine the numbers we reach if we expand this initiative to as many of those stores as we can?! Double the stores signed up for Mac & Cheese for Molly to 100 and we’d reach 570,000 people. Quadruple the stores to 200 participating and we’re at over 1.1 million people reached. If we were to launch the initiative in all 3,000 stores, that would be over 17 million people who would have heard of Rett syndrome!
This is an opportunity for awareness [and fundraising] like no other.
But you need to take action asap to make it happen.
