Bottles for Bryer 2023

With love and optimism in our hearts, we invite you to our third annual fundraiser for the Rett Syndrome Research Trust. Once again, the event is in honor of our daughter, Bryer Schaffer, and the 350,000 other children and adults with Rett syndrome.

Rett is caused by a random genetic mutation and it affects every aspect of Bryer’s life, including her ability to walk, speak, eat, and everything that most of us are fortunate enough to be able to take for granted. In spite of all this, we have so much hope for a cure. Thanks to your past support, RSRT has made remarkable progress. Two clinical trials in gene therapy are now underway. This is an extremely promising approach that aims for a profound reversal of symptoms. To say we are excited would be a major understatement. RSRT needs funding more than ever to continue the momentum with gene therapy and other scientific approaches. We ask for your support again to help us change Bryer’s life and so many other lives.
